Is that the right name? I wanted to say Monctoneers but I’m quite sure that wasn’t right! Anyway, just a note to say thank you for being such a great audience tonight at the ECMA Showcase! You were simply fabulous! Putting a conference like this together is a lot of work, but what really makes it all come together is when the host city comes out and supports the events just the way you didi!!

I’d like to come back to Moncton to do a show in the summer, so if you think you might like to come out to hear the full ‘Canadian Girl’ show (and more!) please send me your email addy (you can just subscribe by sending your email through the ‘Bonnie’s Mailing List’ on the bottom of the right hand column of this page.) Its ECMA Time!

Its that time of year when Maritime Musicians gather in flocks and nuzzle, network and negotiate…then share a glass…then perch, parley, persuade and prattle…then share a glass… then…well, you get the picture! All this, of course, is done amid drifts of groovy and melodious sounds that permeate walls, rooms and corners with sound systems or eager ears. It is unique and amazing and EXHAUSTING! This year’s event is in Moncton and I am thrilled to be doing a couple of shows for it. I am doing the ‘Rising Star’ Showcase on Friday the 13th at 9:15 sharp! The whole showcase starts at 8PM and has a great line up of artists, so if come by the Delta – Ballroom between – 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM. If you are among the throngs of peeps swarming the streets and shows, please do say hello!

I’ll be tweeting notes and pics about the event so stay tuned for some fun pics!
